There are so many days I get caught up doing things that need to get done…

…but are not actually helping me grow my salon business.

Instead of:

• creating content to attract new clients
  
  
• sharing haircutting education
  
  
• developing leadership for my team
  
  

I find myself:

• doing bills
  
  
• budgeting
  
  
• handling tasks that don’t require my highest value
  
  

Yes, these things matter.

But they are not what drives salon business growth strategies.

Here’s what I realized:

I write best in the morning.

That’s when my mind is clear.
That’s when I’m creative.
That’s when I can truly show up as a leader.

And yet… I was giving that time away to tasks that don’t require that level of energy.

This morning, I woke up to do budgeting.

But I stopped myself.

I made a decision:
